Bricks have arrived!

Our bricks were delivered yesterday!

Unfortunately there's been a few problems with our frame, including one window being missed so the frame contractors are coming back to sort it out. We were hoping they'd be there today but haven't seen anyone for a few days.

We're quite happy with the brick color, hoping it might look a bit better once they're laid with the off white mortar

Windows

Windows Must of been installed yesterday - I didn't even see them being there on Monday so the tradesman worked really quick!

Our frames starting going up yesterday and our roof trusses were delivered today.

Our gate was locked and there was none on site when I drove past so this is as close as I got -

Our Frames

Our lovely steel frames were delivered today!

I wonder if they'll do any work tomorrow before the long weekend?

The Slab

We were lucky to have the slab laid while we were away for a week. They've written 'cured' on the concrete but the bank has held us up with a valuation on wed before they'll release the next payment. And the builder won't do much more until they get the next payment from the bank.

Anyway, heres some pics

Update

Well, we got our soil removed yesterday and they've started drilling for piers.

They think well have a slab down by the end of the week!

Progress!

Today I drove past the block to see this -
