We ended up deciding on the Parklane. It's an older house and they will be discountiuning it at the end of the year, but it's within our budget and still not as small as the Sorrento.
There are a few changes we've asked for -
- Vogue Contempary Facade
- Doors to Ensuite and WIR (preferably sliding to ensuite)
- Alfresco Grande
- Door at rear of garage
- Wine rack above fridge
- Wider front door
- The rumpus will be squared off and a sliding door to go onto the alfresco
- Servery window off kitchen
- Shampoo recess in ensuite
We will be getting the impressions package which includes upgrades such as ceaserstone benchtops, mixer taps, water filter, remote control doors, glass splashback, steel frames, colourbond roof etc.
So, last Thursday we put our $3000 deposit down, this week they have started testing the soil and organising a contour survey. It looks like we might need the dearer slab too.
I've started taking photos of outside colours I like - we will be getting our colour pack soon and making an appointment to decide! Exciting!
